Welcome, and thanks for your interest in The Hope United Methodist. We are located in a rural area in northern Midland County surrounded by farmlands, wooded areas and nearby rivers and lakes. Our congregation has been in the Hope community since 1889. Our membership includes individuals of all ages and life experiences. Our mission is to show love “Jesus style” at every intersection in life. Our commitment is to be intentionally involved in all the experiences that will help us “keep in step” with Jesus. We invite you to visit us and enjoy the warm atmosphere of our country church in the Hope community.
Sunday Service delivered by Pastor Bill Cleland begins at 11:00 a.m. and usually lasts a little over an hour. We describe our worship style at Hope as “blended.” We sing both traditional hymns and contemporary praise choruses.

Visitors park in the brand new parking lot located behind the church. There are two handicap parking stalls at the back of the church and all handicap parking along Hope Road. We have a carport that shelters our congregation from weather for safer church ingress and egress.
Please come dressed as however you wish. You will see people and children dressed casual and business casual. Children are welcome in the sanctuary or Sunday School.
We typically have a potluck luncheon on the first Sunday of the Month.
